What Is Embodied Wisdom?
I have always said, knowledge is something that you acquire through reading books, studies and research. Great! You know stuff, and you have the capacity to hold very interesting dinner chats with strangers! But that, in truth, is all it is.
So how do you alchemise what you know into what you have lived? How do you create depth of knowledge and transform it into wisdom? By applying what you know about life, you begin the embodiment process, which then alchemises into what I call true embodiment practice. Ok, so now you REALLY have a story to tell which contains depth and meaning. That’s exactly what wisdom is. Applied knowledge through experience.
Why the Elders Hold the Know-How
How did you think wise elders of the village become elders? How does a maiden become a Crone? And also, why do you find yourself pulling up a chair and listening to the stories of an elder? Because your soul knows a wisdom keeper when it sees one!! There is VALUABLE advice being shared, and you trust it. Why? Because the elder is EMBODIED!
Throughout their evolution of life, they have overcome many obstacles, taken wrong turns, but also taken right ones! They ‘know’ something you don’t… how to play the G-AME of life!! They hold a deep wealth of EXPERIENCE in such things. When you become an elder, you’ve basically earned your stripes, right? You’ve had to play your hand at life to make it through, whether you like it or not.
When you get to a certain age of physical and spiritual maturity, you have gained enough skills, gone through enough shit and come out the other side kinda better for it! You’ve become a MASTER on how to play the G-ame.
And when I refer to life as a G-ame (capital G!), you lighten up a little, you don’t sweat the small stuff, and you also KNOW that you will always get another chance to play your hand.
The Calling to Move from Study to Practice
I have always been a massive researcher and scholar.
I thrive on mythology and theology and find myself swirling in the magic of knowledge and learning (or rather re-membering). However, for many years before my expeditions in Egypt, I would lose myself in studies, books and courses. It set my soul on fire, and I just kept consuming knowledge until… my first trip to Egypt, which lined up at the same time with a deep dive into Ayahuasca! Gees Louise!! Egypt medicine AND Ayahuasca. Hmmmm, do you think that was a powerful enough mix though? Erm YEAH! Maybe a little too much, my higher self clearly knew what she was doing! My human had no idea how VERY intense the ride that lay ahead!
Thoth called it! “Ok, honey, you’re done! No more books and no more ‘learning.’ Time for the practical component of your soul’s mission.”
I was plunged. Yes plunged into physical visits to the land of Egypt, and at the same time was undergoing back-to-back Ayahuasca ceremonies over the span of two years. That’s what happens when you have two medicine shamans move into your house in Zimbabwe! That’s a tale for another blog!
The plaster was ripped off, and I was hurled (yes, I have now dramatically increased from plunge to hurl lol!) into Egypt. The experiences were INTENSE, the lessons broke me into pieces, and I found myself hurtling through the cosmos with no space suit on!! What the f**k!!
FIRE Becomes FORM: Sekhmet and Thoth in Action
It was at this time that Thoth came to welcome me to what he called my “embodiment phase.” It was also at this time I EXPERIENCED my first encounter with Sekhmet. Oh great. Yeah! Anyone else who wants to jump in, just in case this wasn’t intense enough! The message was that I had gathered so much knowledge, not just from my studies in this life but also from my previous ones, and it was now time to apply this know-ledge through practical means. A true moment of how to turn knowledge into wisdom.
“What?!!! What do you mean? No! I am super comfortable with my studies at my dining room table, thanks!!”
Yeah, they paid no attention to my objections. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what a TRUE calling looks like!
When you give your sacred YES to Sekhmet and Thoth, you are igniting the baptism by fire! This is initiation. Where you finally break free from living in the stars and endlessly cultivating idea after idea without success, to now landing and expressing that idea in the world.
That is when FIRE (Sekhmet) becomes FORM (Thoth). That is when PURPOSE finds an outlet to manifest through your SACRED ARCHITECTURE. That is when KNOWLEDGE becomes WISDOM. And then becomes MANIFEST!!
This is the very backbone of the Hermetic principles. Not just knowing them, but living them. This is also what initiates real activation during a Sekhmet pilgrimage or any deep spiritual journey, especially one aligned with Egypt’s ancient frequencies.
If you have ever wondered why you have failed to land ideas successfully, this is why. You have been fighting the fear of landing. This is a subconscious program, so don’t be too hard on yourself. You have not been ‘aware’ of this program that’s been running in the background.
How to Begin Turning Knowing Into Doing
So how do you change this?
From within. This is an inside job, and only YOU can transform the frequency to ensure alignment out there.
If you are trying to get clients, wealth or any kind of success, then that’s your first issue. ‘Getting’ tells the universe that you don’t have it. The order is in! And then you act surprised when it shows up.
“I didn’t order this!”
Well… erm… You actually did!
Like any order gone wrong, self-assess and see where there was a communication breakdown. Regroup, realign (from within), and re-order. Now see what shows up in your space when you REALIZE that YOU are the one shaping your reality.
What I speak of here is the Hermetic Principles again. But this time from a place of embodiment. When applied correctly, you become the next living, breathing air bender!! Calling ALL the magic to support your inner world. No good speaking affirmations forcing a reality within. It doesn’t work! Your first task is to spend time with YOU, dissolving the negative narrative that you are separate from the ALL MIND.
You are most certainly not, as I slap you on the wrist! YOU are part of it ALL.
ONE Heart
ONE consciousness
ONE love!! (Sorry, had to throw that in. As I typed, Bob Marley started playing in my head!)
Once you recalibrate your thoughts on this… once you clear out all the noise within that tells you that you are separate… then you will experience the shift from KNOWING to CREATING. This is how you successfully land these ideas, alchemising thoughts into things manifesting with intention + action.
You are so used to working hard, pushing that elephant up the hill, that when you start applying the Hermetic teachings and start seeing the results (which, btw, are fast!), you’ll be thinking: “Hmmmmm this is too easy…”
That’s because it IS!!!

“Today, I AM the CAUSE of WEALTH, SUCCESS through conscious LEADERSHIP.”
